Umar completed a BSc with Honours, Construction Management at the University of the Witwatersrand (South Africa). After which he moved to London where he completed a MSc in Building Urban Design & Development at University College London (England).He is an Urban Designer focused on the use of participatory policies & research in shaping global development policy using epistemologies of the Global South and Intersectionality.
